The Hampden Township Veterans Recognition Committee will be hosting a Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day event on December 4th at 2 p.m. at the Captain Leon Lock Veterans Memorial in the Hampden Township Veterans  Park (4345 Marketplace Way, Enola, PA)

A special guest expected to be in attendance is Mr. William A. Caparella.  Mr. Caparella, who will be 100 years young on January 16,  2023, served his country as part of the Greatest Generation in the US Navy as a Seabee in WWII – most notably at the Battle of Okinawa, fought from April 1 to June 21, 1945.  Mr. Caparella will be joined by his daughter, Vicki
