Hampden Township has set Monday, March 4, 2024 for a township meeting to discuss “Good Hope Road Safety Issues”. The meeting is scheduled for 6 pm at the Township Building located at 209 S. Sporting Hill Road.
Residents are urged to attend the meeting.

| Hampden Township, Harrisburg Transportation Study (HATS) and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) invites the public to an in-person public meeting for the Good Hope Road Study, which is located in Hampden Township, Cumberland County.
The public meeting will be held commencing at 6:00 PM, Monday, March 4, 2024 at the Hampden Township Municipal Building, 209 S. Sporting Hill Road, Mechanicsburg, PA.
The study’s purpose is to analyze existing conditions and identify potential transportation improvement alternatives to improve safety and mobility for all roadway users within the Good Hope Road corridor. The study will guide planning and programming of transportation projects and policies. The purpose of the public meeting is to present the study’s findings, receive input, and answer questions on an informal basis.
As an alternative to attending the public meeting, a draft version of the study report will be available for review and comment on the Township’s website (www.hampdentownship.us) beginning Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Comments will be received until 11:59 PM Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
