DESCRIPTION:Get ready for a spooky Trick-or-Treat Night!! \nTrick-or-Treat for Hampden Township has been rescheduled for Friday\,  October 31st from 6 to 8 pm due to forecasted inclement weather for Thursday. \nIt’s each family’s personal decision if their children participate in door-to-door Trick-or-Treating\, and an individual’s choice to participate or not in distributing Treats.  If not giving out treats\, please leave your front porch light off. \nParents are asked to make sure their children’s masks are large enough to see through easily\, have a flashlight and wear bright reflective colors.  Parents should also inspect treats before allowing their children to eat them. \n                                             HAVE FUN BUT BE SAFE!!

Sporting Hill Road.    \nResidents are urged to attend the meeting. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHampden Township\, Harrisburg Transportation Study (HATS) and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) invites the public to an in-person public meeting for the Good Hope Road Study\, which is located in Hampden Township\, Cumberland County. \nThe public meeting will be held commencing at 6:00 PM\, Monday\, March 4\, 2024 at the Hampden Township Municipal Building\, 209 S. Sporting Hill Road\, Mechanicsburg\, PA.  \nThe study’s purpose is to analyze existing conditions and identify potential transportation improvement alternatives to improve safety and mobility for all roadway users within the Good Hope Road corridor. The study will guide planning and programming of transportation projects and policies. The purpose of the public meeting is to present the study’s findings\, receive input\, and answer questions on an informal basis. \nAs an alternative to attending the public meeting\, a draft version of the study report will be available for review and comment on the Township’s website (www.hampdentownship.us) beginning Tuesday\, March 5\, 2024.
